In 2021, we at The STEM Writers saw that lack of fresh, driven talent as companies were becoming desperate to fill their roles. Due to the shift from an in-person to a more virtual world, digital communication become more important than ever. The lack of talent forced companies to start outsourcing to overseas research organizations. Upon seeing this issue becoming an even greater one with every passing month, The STEM Writers was founded.
Our Mission
Our mission at the STEM writers is to take budding scientists and make them into effective writers, by taking out the fluff and getting straight to the point. By teaching the interdisciplinary basics, students can expect to refine their writing skills and carry that lifelong expertise with them - no matter which field they enter. With the industry expected to grow by at least 10% by 2025, scientific writers are key to the future of scientific communication.

The average base salary of entry-level scientific writers with only a bachelor’s degree is between $75,000 & $95,000 a year. Considering the level of skill, prior writing, and research experience, the likelihood of a higher entry-level salary (and/or benefits, bonuses) can be negotiated to higher.
